Bally castle.—market town with ry. sta., Ramoan oar., N. co. Antrim, on B. Bay, 15 miles N. of Bally- money and 12 miles E. of the Giants Causeway, pop. 1446 ; P.O., T.O., 1 Bank. Market-days, Monday, Tues- day, and Saturday. It is beautifully situated on the coast, and in the vicinity are ruins of a castle built in 1609, and of Bonamargy Abbey.
