ing; was long the residence of Viscount Sidmouth

Bulstrode Park, 24 miles SE. of Beaconsfield, S.
Bucks; long the seat of the Bulstrodes, and now the
seat of the Duke of Somerset. The park contains an
ancient circular entrenchment enclosing 21 ac.

Bulverhithe, manor, 2 miles AY. of Hastings, E.
Sussex. On the hill, by the ry. sta., are the ruins of
the chapel supposed to mark the spot where AVilliam
the Conqueror landed.
