Ovoca.—river, co. AVicklow; is formed by the con-
fluence of rivers Avonmore and Avonbeg (“ the meeting
of the waters”), and flows about 9 miles SE. to the
sea at Arklow ; it is joined by the river Aughrim about
4 miles above Arklow. The “sweet vale” of this
stream is the subject of one of Moore’s finest melodies.
