the King. Here is a substantial hos-
pital, founded in 1721, by the will of
Richard Fountain, Esq., for six poor
persons. The church is at some dis-
tance from the village, in a solitary
situation near the river Wharfe ; here
is the seat of Mrs. Atkinson. The
parish contains the townships of Gras-
